Be aware of which types of carbs are giving you that bloated feeling; these are carbs your body may not process well and might need to stay away from. Make sure you are eating slowly and really chewing your food for maximum digestibility. We practice the technique of mindful eating which includes putting your fork down between bites to allow yourself time to chew and enjoy your food. Also, incorporating digestive enzymes can assist with reducing bloated feelings when consuming carbs. If you continue to feel bloated, try on more easily digested carbs (less fiber) like white rice or white potatoes. Remember, this is only for one week as part of a strategy to reset your hormones!
